Epik high frontman Tablo, is due for a November comeback following a four year contract deal with YG Entertainment. This follows a 20 month absence from performing and he is due to release his new album on November 1st.Kang Hye Jung is the second non trainee musical act to sign for the Korean media giants YG Entertainment following PSY. We would like to wish him all the success for the future as we know he will be a big hit kpop fans.

Leader of popular group Big Bang, G-Dragon, has made it onto CNN’s list of 50 reasons why Seoul is the best city.
In an article title, “50 Reasons Why Seoul Is The World’s Greatest City”, featured on the 25th on CNN’s Asian Culture website (CNN GO), G-Dragon was listed at number 30 among other Asian tourist favorites such as galbi (Korean style ribs), jjim-jil bang (mega sauna centers), good looking people, girl groups, and live squid. Seoul was chosen for three years in a row as the best city by Asian tourists.
So why G-Dragon out of all the other k-pop figures? His cutting-edge style was the reason. The article said that since debuting in 2006, G-Dragon has been thrilling fashionistas. It continued to explain some of the daring outfits he has worn, like Alexander McQueen’s silk skull scarf, wedge loafers, and even skirts. One of his most memorable fashionable displays was listed: head-to-toe vintage Chanel at the 2008 Big Bang Concert.
One more notable thing was the G-Dragon outranked the figure skating queen Kim Yuna, who placed 37th.

It was announced in May 2011 that the Kpop Team and Korean Culture Centre was organising a Kpop singing competition that would be judged by YG Entertainment, the prize is a FREE Flight to Korea courtesy of Asiana Airlines and a chance to meet YG Entertainment.
To enter, participants have to post a 30 second to 60 Second clip of themselves singing a Korean Kpop Song. Finalist will then be chosen to sing live on the 3rd June at the Korean culture centre.

After teasing Blackjacks with four teaser promo’s for their new track YG has finally dropped the full MV and it has Blackjack’s singing the praises of the CL, Minzy, Dara and Park Bom.
YG has stated that no promotions of the song have been planned, which leaves many Blackjacks disappointed at not hearing the girl’s live. Still fans have high praise for producer Teddy for show casing the individual voice of the group in a ballad and the MV has the high fashion sense the group is know for.

Korean superstar boy band Big Bang will be holding a comfort tour of Japan to spread a message of hope and love following the majaor crisis in recent days. According to their official website, Big bang will hold concerts on May 10 to 18, the concert tour will consist of a total of seven performances in three major cities in Japan: Osaka (May 10 to 18), Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture (May 13 to 15), and Nagoya (May 17 to 18). In addition, Big Bang’s mini album, which has gained huge popularity in Korea after it was released last February, will be released in a Japanese edition in Japan on April 13.
